Pistol Fundamentals
Pistol Fundamentals
Pistol Fundamentals is a 8-hour course that is completed in 1 day. Pistol Fundamentals is taught using a curriculum, which covers the fundamentals of owning, operating and maintaining both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Subjects covered include safe handling and storage, pistol mechanisms, developing shooting skills and pistol selection, maintenance and use.
The 8 hour Basic Pistol course is a classroom intensive learning experience. There are many hands-on components but students should come prepared to spend the day at the classroom. Basic Pistol includes dry-fire drills, which are conducted in the classroom.
The Basic Pistol course requires a live fire exercise conducted at the range. Students taking Basic Pistol as a stand alone course may join the Concealed Carry Students at the range to perform their qualifying exercises. Students without a firearm may rent from us. We have a Ruger SR22 and Sig Sauer Mosquito 22. Both are very accurate low recoil firearms.
Private instruction is available. Please call to schedule a time and date with Jude (312) 799-0301.
